After graduating from the Est-elle Academy of Hair Design, Heather joined the team at the renowned Ricci Hair Company in Edmonton, Alberta and more recently has joined fellow REDAVID Education Team member Shawn Scheepers' Hairsoda Salon in Vancouver.

Since 2015, Heather has flourished as an artist, guided by her mentor Leonardo Redavid. With a burning desire to teach & inspire, any hairdresser at any level will finish Heather's classes more creatively confident with occasion and editorial work.

HEATHER’S HAIR "AH HA" MOMENT:

"I come from a family of hairdressers...8 of them. My grandmother had a salon in Edmonton called, "Q Hair", but like many young people I decided to try something else instead of following the family business. I spent 10 years in the oil and gas industry and was miserable. I finally heard my calling, went to hair school and graduated in 2013. After working in local salon in the Edmonton area, I met Leonardo Redavid at a local show. He really inspired me...and I didn't want just more out of my career, I wanted to teach and really express my artistry."

BEST ADVICE FOR FELLOW STYLISTS:

"Don't afraid to get creative. When it comes to updos...do the unexpected. Use braids to create updos with more drama and texture. I strick to my updo trio: REDAVID Dual Therapy, Volumizer and Working Spray."
