In 1989, just 4 years after launching his studio, Leo was awarded the coveted Canadian Hairdresser of the Year. He later went on to become President and then Vice-President of Cosmetologist’s Association of British Columbia. His work has been featured in print media & television throughout Western Canada including Vancouver A.M. TV and in the pages of B.C. Women’s Magazine, Vancouver Magazine, Snippitz Magazine, Flare Magazine, and Salon Magazine.
